      It is made primarily of sintered magnesia dolomite or dolomite and magnesia and pressed under high pressure and produced under low to medium temperature firing. It is improved in RUL, TSR and resistance to basic slag attack compared with magnesia brick. It was widely used as working lining of AOD and VOD degasser.
